FS: 5gb White Zen Micro [April 2005]

This is a 5gb white Zen Micro, which I got in April 2005. It's in great condition and comes with all accessories except the belt clip attachment. This includes:

the case
the stand-up attachment
USB cable
USB power adapter
manual
quick start guide
driver CD
original box
2 batteries (This was the special edition one that came with two batteries. One will be installed and the other will need to be charged.)

I've found that I like simplicity, and the iPod Shuffle is perfect for me. I'm also selling because I need to offset the Corda Aria that is now en route!

The only thing about it is that last time I tried to update the firmware, there was an error and the firmware was corrupted, so it doesn't work right now. Formatting the hard drive, rolling back to the original firmware, etc. have not fixed the problem. However, because this is merely a software issue, it shouldn't be very costly for it to be sent in for "repair" (Creative quoted $25). If the buyer wishes, I can first send it in to Creative and then ship it to them (for a higher price), or it can be sold as-is for less. More information on this can be found at Creative's website, or I can provide it upon request. Who knows, Creative might just replace it with a new one since these are now worth less than half of what I paid for it last year!

The faceplate is one of those that came out translucent instead of opaque. This QC issue is well-documented here at Head-Fi, and it looks just as cool IMO.
