i have done the following modifications:
1. bridged output cap legs
2. removed buffering opamps and bridged
i had a bit of difficulty on this card creating solder bridges. it took me a long time to get it right, but now it is solid and sounds fantastic, i tried to replace the opamp, but had difficulty with a browndog, and thus the original opamp is back on. i removed a couple traces during the procedure. thus, i have done some solder-bridgeding to remedy the problem. everything is perfect, solid, and static free now. with some very thine magnet wire for example, one could replace the opamp, but the procedure is very delicate. all this to say, the opamp could still be changed, but it would be a delicate operation.
if you want a good price on a modded card, and don't plan on doing future mods yourself, this is a great deal for ya.
