Hmmm... seems kinda odd because they retail for $99 USD and therefore at current exchange rates about $120 CDN (albeit before our horrible canadian taxes), so $190 CDN sounds like a pretty big stretch... It'd still be cheaper to buy a 1 GB shuffle cheaper from retail.

may seem high but taxes, shipping and insurance is all included. you forgot to add the tax.

Actually, it is high. After 15% tax, instore it would come to $149.50 for the 512 and $218.50 for the 1gb. Futureshop ships for free.
This forum is supposed to be user friendly, not a hangout for profit seeking merchandisers. Unless of course shipping costs are $40.50...which they are not.

i live in canada and shipping to the US is 32.75$ CAD for 1-3 business day shipping. I am not trying to make a profit, just trying to sell my ipod which was a gift and which i have no use for.

If someone purchases the unit that lives in Canada will you give them a discount? Or will you force them to pay the same shipping charge as someone in the US? Seems kinda bogus.

What you seem to fail to grasp is that no one from the US would want to buy it since they can get it cheaper in the store. Apple.com won't even charge me shipping and I have 0% tax in NH.
Just some additional perspective on your price.

if someone in canada would like to purchase it i will lower it to 170 since shipping is only 20.50$ it is not my fault that shipping is so high and there is nothing i can do about it. If you would like to purchase it let me know, if not, please dont leave posts, i dont live near alot of couriers so shipping from my house is limited and therefore sometimes can be high.
