Hello, I have recently decided, since my current amp the headroom mentioned in this thread was in for warranty repair by headroom, to switch to a tube amp to get a taste of a different sound signature. I bought my headroom headphone amplifier/dac/preamp a year ago (may 22 2008 to be exact) and I received it 3 weeks later via fedex. I have been quite happy with it ever since but sending it back to headroom takes a lot of time and I couldnt sit still in the meantime. The order number was 92554, the upgraded stepped attenuator is now no longer sold by headroom. here are links to the spec pages:

note: hr did a bit of repackaging after i bought my system, my headroom amp comes together with the top notch separate desktop pwoer supply so not with the astrodyne supply which they include standard with this module now, also my version has a better volume control which is no longer sold by headroom. Below you can find what I paid for all this a year ago.

I no longer have the wall-wart but the deskto psu is the best way to go anyway. It works worldwide, you just have to change the voltage on the psu unit. I also had to pay 45 dollars for fedex shipent and I had to pay the dutch customs officers ca eur250 which is about 350 dollar. I would prefer to sell this unit, inside the eu since it is so expensive for the europeans to get a fine unit like this because of tax. I will consider every pm though. The unit and the power supply have always been standing on my desk and have never been moved, except for the shipment of the amp back to headroom, the power supply is still here though because that is working flawlessly.

I will send the power supply derictly from me to you, the amp will be sent from headroom where it is being held until I find a buyer for it.

Hello again, after some consideration, I will ask headroom, once they have fixed the amp, to send it to the potential buyer to save the amp some more travelling. I will then either send the psu to the potential buyer from my place or sell it separately if the buyer already has one or doesnt want it, although the power supply is highly recommended especially if you are going to use the amp and the included dac.
