SOLD: HeadRoom Balanced Home/Max Module/Max DAC
Well, we've had 4 wonderful months together. I love this amp, and it's truly the highest fidelity I've ever heard from a headphone system, combined with my Equinox 650's.
However, out of the blue I have just found the most beautiful mahogany New York Steinway D from the 1930's (the golden age as it were, and as rare as can be), something I've been looking for for most of my life, and considering what I do, making music has to come before listening to it. HeadRoom will always make another Balanced Home, or even something better by the time I can afford one, but Steinway only made one of these. So I obviously need cash reasonably quickly to help get out of the rather difficult debt this will put me in, and am trading down to a single ended system based on the 'convertable'. The IC part of this is that I'm hoping that a few other schemes I have may come through and allow me to keep this, however it doesn't look very likely.
It's condition is immaculate, with the only mark being evidence that headphones have been plugged into the XLR jacks where the black coating has rubbed off slightly as the pins slide through. Almost invisibile and otherwise indistinguishable from new. The exact config is a HeadRoom Home Balanced Amp with Max Modules and Max Balanced DAC (no. 001!). The current retail for this amp in this configuration is $3797. I will be taking offers in the region of $3000, and at that price will include PayPal fees and express insured shipping in the ConUS, however will consider a lower offer with some negotiation. I can also accept a lower price if payment is via Money Order. The Amp has the remainder of it's 5 year warranty which is tranferrable, and the voltage is very easily switchable for overseas buyers. It will ship in it's original HeadRoom box, and I will include the receipts in case of any warranty issues.
