(I HAVE THE PAIR as in two!!!)
Antique Sound Labs AV-20 monoblock power amplifiers
The Antique Sound Labs AV-20 pushes out 20 push-pull watts a side, dished out by a pair of 6L6 ASL-brand beam powered. Driving the power tubes is a solitary 12AX7 sitting up top along with two transformers way back on the chassis.
Right beside the stout 6L6 tubes, you'll find a knob and voltmeter receptacle allowing for tube bias adjustment.
The tubesets have been upgraded to matched pairs- On the rear panel there is allowance for a removable IEC power cord, a pair of gold-plated RCA inputs and gold-plated brass binding posts.
I just upgraded to a 50wpc tube amp so these are up fer grabs--I think
Were $500 new as a pair, plus about $60 in tubes upgraded (not shown in pics)
not sure what to think now- I use them with fairly efficient speakers and sub- see my sig-
trade for a nice set of headphiles? nicer head amp than those listed in my sig?? a tauras 1911?
