Hello Head-FI
For sale is my toaster-style Supra.
I have had this amp for the last year or so, and with a heavy heart I sell it to fund a DIY project.
The amp has black-gate output caps, a 24-position stepped attenuator, the HV option, and adjustable bias.
HV option: provides LOTS of power and control. This is switched so that you can run 6SN7 (normal voltage) OR 6BL&&6BX7 (high or low voltage).
Adjustable bias switches the texture of the amp from “fairly hard” and very neutral sound to a little on the soft and mellow side. The “softer and mellower” side has better bass control and overall detail than an MPX3 as a comparison point.
I have not done any mods to this amp since receiving it from Mikhail as it sounds quite good as it sits, but could upgrade caps or resistors to suit the buyer.
The amp was tuned specifically for the R10, but has never failed me in the quest to get good sound from any headphone.
$2500 gets it shipped anywhere in the USA. I will update this post with a couple photos this evening.
I did not take these, but its my amp:
