I hate the fact that I'm doing this, but I have no choice. I have a mortgage payment to make, times are tough, yadda yadda yadda. I offer for sale this beautiful little girl, the Heed Canamp. Not only that, it's been heavily modded (credit Pinkfloyd) for better sound. More specifically, it doesn't get as hot, there is more power, separation, and soundstage.
Sprague Koolohm resistors, 35v Panosonic Capacitors, Elna Silmic II's, uf4002 diodes, dip8 socket with AD823 opamp, and Panasonic poly/polyprops on the underside of the board. I will also include Belden LC-1 RCA interconnects with Techflex (3 ft), as I won't have any use for them. I didn't like this amp when I initially got it. Now, it's hard to stop listening. But I must. With the mods and everything, I am trying to sell this amp for 650 shipped. Here's a bad picture, but I sold my other camera already:

Update: Price drop to 600, but I'll need the RCA cables so I can't offer those. A little history...
The amp is 110 voltage, and has been in my possession for roughly a month. Before that, I made some of PinkFloyds mods and he made some additional modifications after that. The amp has seen under 200 hours of use.
Someone really should help a head-fi'er in need and get a great deal on a amp that has received some excellent praise. Don't make him lower the asking price again...

Normally I wouldn't complain, but..I don't get it. Everything else I've sold has been sold super fast, but with this I've had more deals fall through than things I've sold. I'm particularly offended when (and this has happened THREE TIMES between this amp and the headphones) someone says they'll buy it for less than what I offered, I go ahead and accept, and then they back out anyway.
I don't want anyone to buy anything out of pity, either. I just want people to know I'm selling it because I have to. I'll get back, build me a Beta22, and enjoy bliss. For now, this is a damn good amp and it's that much better than everyone else that doesn't have the mods. THAT's why you should buy it. Still 450 including shipping and I'm not lowering it. I cannot ship to anywhere outside the US without it costing extra.
If that comes on strong, I'm just highly irritated right now...
