For sale in this thread is my much loved '07 HeadRoom Max amp with Max DAC option and Stepped Attenuator in mint condition. This is the latest version of the now sold-out/discontinued Max amp and will come with the remainder of its 5 year warranty. If you're looking at this thread then you probably know all about the legendary Max amp, this is the statement product made by HeadRoom sparing no expenses and coupled with the built-in upsampling Max DAC (the best cable is no cable!) it is one of the best sounding solid state amps that money can buy.
This amp has been taken very good care of and has no scratches.
The Max amp comes with three gain settings and the amazing HR Crossfeed feature
2 Analogue inputs, upsampling reclocking USB Dac that measures as good as the DAC1 USB
pre-out and ground lift features, the circular shadows are from the shine of the switches
This amp will come with the remainder of its 5 year warranty
This amp is kept in a smoke-free, pet-free environment and is in mint condition. Reason for selling is because I'm moving and will not have the space to accommodate this huge block of milled aluminum (weights 20 lbs!). Prefer a CONUS sale due to shipping costs but can ship worldwide double boxed with tracking and insurance. The Max amp with DAC is $3500 new, asking $2750 plus S&H. Sure can! You can use this as a high-end DAC-Preamp in your speaker rig.
