Default V-Moda Vibe review on mobile-review.com

I usually like to read callphones' reviews from here. But today I just found out that they also review some IEM

V-Moda Vibes are canalphones as well?

SQ is a term deprecated of its original value because too many people tend to throw it around without qualifying the reasoning for "better SQ" with actual elements of difference.

"As for those who value sound quality or strong basses above everything else, they should turn their sight to the Bass Freq by V-Moda or other manufacturers’ proposals. "

Huh?

Yes, I read that and immediately questioned the reviewer.

It sounds like the reviewer is too used to the boomy bass of most lower end headphones. Kind of confusing the actual loudness for sound quality. I kind of did this myself when I first got these, but after comparing them with the Koss Plugs I had been using, there was no going back. Maybe the reviewer should do an A-B test and then state his opinion.

Heh, I contacted the reviewer with the suggestion for A-B comparison to see what he says then.
