Ultrasone Edition 9 Owners...Are you going to purchase the upcoming Edition 8?
It seems the Ultrasone Edition 9 have a great reputation and following...
1. Curious whether any current Edition 9 owners are planning to purchase the Edition 8's (add to their collection)...
or...
2. Sell your Edition 9 to fund the purchase of the Edition 8

Well it would mostly depend on how the ED8's are going to sound, and since we don't know that yet (most of us anyway), I would put this question on hold until it is released.

How about sell my Edition 9s to fund HD-800s?

On my side I don't know if I will purchase the Edition 8 in the short term. Update: Finally, I was not able to resist to the temptation.

At certain point in the future, let's say a year down the track, I see myself having Ed9, Ed8 and HD800 at the same time. By this time hopefully I'll have my planned Beta22 up and running.
Then I'll let my ears to do the voting. I'll keep the best of that trio and let other two go.

I'm going to wait until they make a headphone that goes to 11.

Both
I'm keeping my 9's and planning on adding an 8 to the collection.
From what I heard at CES, the 8's should be very nice and different enough from the 9's that I want to have both on hand.
Peace,
Lee

No. If they were significantly better than the Edition 9's in enough areas I would consider them but that doesn't appear to be the case - at least not for me. I'd sooner save my cash for a Rudistor RPX-33 / RPX-100.
