Default UE warranty in UK

Hi all,

Purchased a pair of Super.fi 5 pros about a year ago unfortunately the cable has snapped internally near the jack. The company I bought them from only help claim warranties upto 6 months after date of purchase (annoying). Anyway I sent UE 2 emails but have yet to receive a reply. Just wondering if they honour their warranties in the UK, I have purchased a pair of replacement cables anyway but I'm worried if UE customer support doesn't extend to the UK then the rest of my warranty is essentially useless.

Any feedback welcome

Well I hope they do honour it. I just bought some Triple.fi's from Amazon.co.uk so I would assume they're authorised dealers and therefore UE would honour any warranty. I'd be concerned if they didn't.

Do you have the original receipt to show date of purchase etc? I'm sure UE will help out since the customer service is supposed to be pretty good. Good luck anyway, and let us know how it turns out.

Thanks for the replies - I'm a bit confused when you say you gave tara an email, is there a UK based customer support for UE? Only email I saw was superficare@ultimateears.com.

Cheers

Guys at UE are quite nice. Though their cables are only warranty for 3 months from the date of purchase, they'll normally still exchange it for you.... that's provided you still have your receipt.
