Is there any reason to pick 10ft cable vs 6ft for SQ ?
Hi
Just wonder
Forget price and to short or to long
Will a 10ft cable (a good one) will sound less good than a shorter 6ft one ?

No. With everything else being the same, the difference would be indistinguishable.

Headphones often sound worse or much better depending on what source and amp are used. Please make your posts more helpful by stating what equipment the mentioned headphones are plugged into. Stating this in your signature but not in your post won't help those who later read your post after you've changed your sig to a new rig. Thank you!
What headphones have you modded for better sound?

I'd get a 10ft. Better more than less. You know, in case you wanna lie down, or move a bit. 6ft is by experience, quite restrictive.

There would be a distinguishable difference if the cable was around 200 feet long or so (I'm not sure of the cable length for audio, but Ethernet), I believe it would depend on the audio, and of course the ears :P
4 feet will make no difference.

It is a drag if you're using it for portable use, but maybe not as bad as I thought... Would work out in the long run; home use, etc.

Actually, with low-level signals and applications, you can run out to about 50 ft. without a significant loss in signal output or quality.
