Soundearphones-Patronize Specialty Stores
I received my UE super.fi studio 3 iems yesterday and went running with them this morning. I'm pleased so far with the purchase, but have not had them long enough for a fair evaluation. (thanks for the advice all)
I would like to say that my transaction with Soundearphones was outstanding. I ordered them on Tuesday and they were delivered on Wednesday night. I used regular $5.00 shipping. How's that for service?
Before you go to Amazon or Ebay, consider supporting the site sponsors. Not only were they 30.00 bucks cheaper for the iems (I wanted clear). Their service was almost immediate. I think it's *real* important to keep specialty stores in business. Support the small stores!!

i too purchased my superfi eb's from michael at soundearphones. i ordered them on tuesday and received them yesterday morning. i made several purchases from another popular site sponsor but their personal service has seemed to dry up. i tried for 2 days to get through to the owner but to no avail. their phone sales people seemed pretty uninformed as well. i was on hold for 15 to 20 minutes at at time until i lost interest altogether. it appears that this company is outsourcing their phone sales service. michael is a nice young fellow who is polite and eager to please. it also doesn't hurt that his prices are very competitive.
the super fi eb's are fantastic earphones that have received an undeserved bad reputation on this site. if you like bass there is no other way to go.

x2 on Soundearphones. Good to support the "little" guy in today's world, especially because they represent the old "mom and pop" concept - a disappearing act in the U.S. (thanks Wal-Mart). Of course, sometimes the small vendors aren't too hot on the customer service front, but that isn't the case with Soundearphones, as some of us have found.

x4 on supporting these small businesses with dedicated crew.
Well, hese guys didn't even charge shipping to Australia. How's that compared to some eBay sellers charging $35 delivery for very small and light parcel within the same city (as it happened to me just lately).

Agreed. I just bought my amp from Travagans, and couldn't have been happier with the service. David always answered my emails right away (allowing for time correction, as he's a few hours different from me), no shipping costs from China to the US, and a great amp to boot.
I did just recently score a set of new K501s on ebay for a decent price, but $25 shipping from AZ to KS was a bit rough.

Great service
Bought a Sleek SA6 from SoundEarphones. Best price, fast international shipping and great customer service from a reputed head-fi sponsor.
I would strongly recommend them to anyone worldwide considering purchasing IEMs and related accessories. Thanks Michael M.

What a great thread, I prefer to support specialty shops as they know what they're talking about and generally care about the customer. Big stores just see dollar signs, specialty shops see repeat business.
I'm checking out Soundearphones now to see what they carry regarding future purchases. This view carries over from cycling, I make it a point to support my local shops. Sponsors are our local shops, this reaffirms my opinion that head-fi is a great community.
