NOTE: Models listed "w/ mini-plug" come with a small 1/8" plug plus the adaptor to convert to full size 1/4"....
Which one should I get? Will they have the same SQ?

try the sr-60s first

Colin0317 - congrats on the purchase. Now the waiting begins...
I made the same choice as you for the MS-1 cable termination. A mini-plug is useful for more stuff nowadays, and you'll still have the option of a traditional 1/4-inch with the adapter.

they already charged my credit card, so hopefully I'll get them before Christmas.
I was wondering if HD414 pads that are not modified whatsoever would fit them perfectly...

They do indeed, and they're a popular choice - but are supposedly even better after punching a quarter-sized hole through them.

It doesn't show "ALESSANDRO" on my online statement yet, but it says I have $102CAN less than my limit. Kind of like the money is on hold, I'm not sure if that means its processed.
