This image has to much incandescent light reflection so it made the chrome earcup look yellow.

I have no issues with their comfort but out of the box the Ultrasone headphones normally have a tight grip on your head if your head is as large as mine.

For sound stage, my K701 blows the HFI out of the water. But because the decentralised positioning of the driver in the ultrasones the sound will reflect in your ear first. You know, through the anti-helix ant stuff. This ensures that the sound comes in as natural as possible for a headphone. Thode weird shapes in your ear amplify and influence the different frequencies. So your ear shapes the music for you. As it would in a natural situation.

So I notice this very clearly. It sounds much 'easier' than any other headphone. Though in my opinion it doesn't sound any more spacier.
There's a perfectly logical explenation for that too, but no time to explain this right now..

and yes, I too would advise to try the PL750 first, or maybe the HFI2200.

i can't WAIT to get my 2200's!

It certainly looks mini-esque, but I'm not seeing the optical drive slot. I've got a new mini myself, which is what got me curious...

That is my Dell XPS 210 computer. It is white and my Beresford and Yamamot HA-02 set right beside it.

I was planning on getting another UE9 but with the 780 sounding much the same I decided to put that money into a couple of other toys. One will be to replace the Beresford with a second Lavry. I am also looking real hard at that Klipsch Model 3 if they can ever get their site updated.

How would the 780s sound without an amp? I know they have a fairly low impedance, but will they still sound muddy unamped?
