lol I am not going to do that. If I honestly want the headphones I get to maybe keep instead of sending back then I will order them. If not then I won't. I don't plan on using it and if I do only once or twice tops. Not 10 or 20 times like I am sure some people do.

dakkar and Zanth you all both need to think to yourself. Did I say I was going to abuse the retail store? No.
Zanth none of those stores you mention offer free return shipping.

You were the one who brought up the idea here... so its already considered a bad intention.
if you got something to say other than helping Zanth with his loan program, i suggest that you PM him or something, im pretty sure he and many others will appreciate that this thread stays clean.

I really want to try out those GS-1000. I'll just have to wait the next six months patiently until I qualify for the last criteria.

I said nothing of the sort.

Do you have enough people to start a running list yet?

As far as people doing a write up of the phones they tried out, maybe that should be in a special section of the forum, otherwise there will be 1000's of SR60/GS1000 reviews in the headphone forum section mucking it all up.
Ill go through 30 minutes of searching before finding a different headphone write up.
Nice program though, i hope it works out!!!

Very cool idea!
I know you don't want money changing hands yet, and you're talking about attracting support from manufacturers, but another way to help make this self-sustaining (or even self-growing) is to charge a small fee or suggest a small donation (depending on personal circumstances) for every try-out and feed that back into a fund for purchasing more gear for the "library".
Hope it or a program like it makes it to Australia one day

Really nice!
I sure hope this turns out successful, and that is scales into a worldwide program with more headphones.
Set me up for the european K1000 program.

Put myself on the list for the GS1Ks...I've always wanted to hear them and see how the PPAv2 melds with it.

Awesome idea. Hopefully it will be a success and us outsiders will be able to get on board too
