Sennheiser Launching New Products at CES! (And We'll Be There!)
I recently received an invitation from Sennheiser to cover a special product launch on January 6, 2008 at CES in Las Vegas (the night before CES officially opens), and I'm takin' it. We'll have the scoop, and will have the first public listen in the world to these products. I'll also be covering it, on the spot, via a Podcast and on the forums. I received an ahead-of-time teaser, and what we are going to see/hear--considering all the speculation this year--is, in my opinion, probably unexpected from Sennheiser.
Mark your calendars!
I know some other Head-Fi.org Sponsors will have some exciting new products, too, so this should be a fun few days (that's all I had time for was a few days, so I won't be at CES for that whole week).
I would like to see a true 5.1 headphone system for high definition world.

Very exciting! I was half expecting to get Rick Roll'd here, but maybe we'll finally catch a glimpse of the mythical HD 700?
I'm always confused as to what people mean when they say something like "a true 5.1 headphone system". From my understanding, the notation of 5.1 means there are 5 "full-range" channels, and 1 channel dedicated to a limited range of frequencies. Does that mean 5 drivers and a subwoofer attached to your head?? Doesn't make any sense to me.
