Sennheiser HD440 II - Head-Fi: Covering Headphones, Earphones and Portable Audio

I have an old pair of Senn HD440 II headphones somewhere, and was wondering if they might be worth using as portable/office phones. Does anyone have any experience with these? Are they worth rummaging through boxes in the attic for, or should I just buy some Portapros or PX100s instead?

I have no experience with them, but of course you should try and find them so that you can evaluate for yourself and see if you like 'em or not.
