Default sennheiser cx300 question

does using biggest/smallest earplugs give most/least bass? does it also affect sound than just fitment?

I have razer m100s which I think are just rebranded cx300s. I find that the sound is very thin when I use the smallest tips. I much prefer the medium or large sized tips.

like with any canalphone, base and most of the detail is dependent on the seal and inner ear canal air pressure, meaning that the tip size which gives the best sound depends on the calibre of your ear canal,

The size is not what matters, Which ever one that fits your ear the best and seals right will yield good sound. If you have a poor seal or no seal with the sleeve then theres going to be no bass.

Use the ones that fit.
