I love my ER4Ps. Yes they get even better with the P>S adapter and the Headsix but the Nano/ER4P combo is to my ears a killer for ultraportable mp3-use. I realize that for some people it might be on the lean side but I love the fast and detailed sound. And with a good seal the bass is there when it needs to be there.
Edit: Sometimes the convenience with few components and mp3 outweighs the extra few % you get with better components and source material.
