Default replacement foam for Sennheiser HD590 drivers?

Anyone know where to get just the foam part that covers the drivers for these headphones?

The cushion part is ok, but the part that covers the drivers has worn through so it's a tad uncomfortable sitting on my ears :-P
I've found replacement cushions, but I'd be surprised if that thin foam piece is part of the cushions which cost $33 :-(

Just wanted to let others know if they have this part wear out, you have to replace the entire pad that goes around your ears. It's unfortunately around $30 from B&H Photo, but at least you can get replacements.
I don't mind since it's a really comfortable pair of headphones :-)

man that's quite expensive... can't u just make your own out of a sheet of foam around the same thickness? don't know how that will affect the sound though..

When I made my Beyerheiser HD880s - HD590 casing with DT880 drivers - I replaced the foam with speaker grille cloth. Sounds like your ears actually touch the foam though. You might need something with a bit more cushion or perhaps your earpads have worn thin enough so the drivers are physically closer to your ears. Or did they always touch the foam?

Anyways - if you want, I can cut out two pieces of grill cloth and mail them out to you if you want to try. Send me a PM with your address.
