Unhappy Problem with Yuin PK1s

Hey Folks,

I've noticed a distortion in the right channel of my PK1s. I noticed it about a month ago but I wasn't certain that it was the headphones. Well now I've gone through a few amps and different recordings from different sources and listened to things in mono, and it is certainly there.
Do you know if it is possible to get them repaired anywhere, or know any fixes?
I've done searching and read a lot of the PK1-2 appreciation thread and I haven't noticed anything about this, nor can I find a manufacturer's website.

Any help is appreciated!

If you got them from Head-Direct, you can email Fang, he is a very nice and helpful guy!

I got them second hand, I'm just evaluating my options.

Talk to the person you bought off, if they got from Head-Direct as well, Fang may still be able to help.

Unless you got yours from China, Fang is the person to talk to. Head-direct is the world distributor for Yuin.

If it's the same kind of distortion I get with my PK3s (and soon PK1s, probably) it's just a small hair that's got inside. Covering the back-port with ur finger and gently sucking on the front of the earbuds in a semi-circle (make sure air can circulate or you'll destroy the drivers) should remove the hair.
