Default prices?

hey all.
im new to this. i posted last night and decided the sony 7506 were probably the best for me. ill be doing Pro tools mixing of hard rock music, but also just casual listening. and need something pretty cheap.

but, if anyone else knows any good phones for this please tell me.

so my question is what site has the best deals? i heard audiocubes come up last night. and the only other site i know is sweetwater.

thx for any help
laters.

HeadRoom has a pretty good selection, and has a 30 money back if the phones don't agree with you, or vice versa.

Save some money and get the Sony MDR-V6 instead. It's the exact same thing as the 7506, but about $20 cheaper. I mostly listen to metal, rock, and some techno stuff.

I also make music on my computer and use my V6s as the main reference to see how it sounds. The problem is that I can hear plenty of bass with my headphones, but can barely hear it at all on my speakers (they're crap anyway).

I got mine at DJ Mart for $80, but I think I found them for $70 somewhere else.
