PK1 sounds good FOR EARBUD, or sounds really good?
I mean all this rave reviews are because it's good sounding earbud or it's really kick ass sounding little things?

Two years ago I was told by YUIN that "pk" means kick everybody's ass. At that time they were kicking all china earphones' ass.
"PK" actually come from the famous Chinese Super Voice Girls Show, an American Idol-like singing contest. YUIN use "PK" as their earbud name because they believe that PK1 will never lose when people using PK1s doing A/B test against any earphones.
PK: Player kill, the term used by China's online game players to mean games where you kill the other players. PK has been used on Super Voice Girls to refer to the knockout part of the show: after a round of singing, the competitor who gets the fewest SMS votes and another one who judges decide has made too many mistakes are sent to the PK Stage; one is eliminated in a one-to-one competition.

I had a set of PK1's on trial before they were released and I think they really sounded good (and super good for earbuds). Just a shame that I hate any earbud fit wise.

Really good.
They can compete with many full sized headphones.

I asked the same question a few weeks back ( PK1 - good overall? Or just good for earbuds?). I ended up buying a pair and have really liked them. Comfortable and very pleasing sound.
I hope to really get my money's worth when my Pico arrives.

Definitively good for the earbuds I have sampled over my headfi journey. My fullsize headphone level only stretches as far as the HD590's but the PK1's are definitely on a par and on some tracks go further in terms of transparency and detail. .

They are good.
I prefer them to something like the grado sr-80s or 125s of the sen 485s.
But they don't compete with say an SR-225 or an HD 580 or an AKG 501.
That said, it still amazes me they can compete with full size cans at all, given that they are portable little ear buds.

Sounds really, really good.
It's a couple of notches below my 'high-end' phone, ATH-AD900, and I would place it somewhere near a Beyer pad-modded MDR-V6 and certainly better in terms of details, punchy-ness of bass above the perennial favourite of Head-Fi KSC75. Also, headphone fatigue never sets in with its warm sound, and no motion sickness feeling with excessive bass.
Most importantly, it justifies its price with its size and comfort. My listening experience was made better just by the fact that they simply vanish, making them the only cans I can wear for hours on end.

It probably can't compete with most of the mid-fi cans (and up), but you have to give credit to Yuin for making a small bud to sound better than many entry class cans.
As a headphone, it sounds good. As an earbud, it sounds great!

My SR80s start crying when they see my PK1s, my PK1 totally whoops my SR80, I have to keep them in seperate areas so they do not fight!

I assume you mean: so PK1 won't bully SR80.

I purchased the PK1's a few weeks back as I was downgrading my system, and after reading a lot about them I was hoping maybe I could live with them in place of full-size cans. At first, I was really shocked at how good they sounded, but after a week it dawned on me that they really don't compare to full-size cans in that they just don't have the soundstage or the impact. It was like having the sq of a MS-1, only in an earbud. I went out and got a pair of woody HD600's and proved myself right, at least for me. They are a terrific earbud, though. They also sound very good with the D1, which is what I was listening to them out of.
