Exclamation NEW Ultimate Ears IEM's?!

I went to soundearphones.com just a minute ago and I found that there were some *new* UE products!

- metro.fi 100: $29,99

- metro.fi 150: $49,99

- metro.fi 200: $79,99 (these seem like the *old* normal Metro.fi's)

also, it looks like they updated the whole range because the pics look different on soundearphones.com

Especially the UE logo n the IEM's looks different then I'm used to.
Now I don't know if this is due to the pics or that UE really updated the range.

Can't seem to find anything on UE site for now.

I'll keep you updated!

greetz

This is the entire new metro.fi series from UE. They also made a full range for iPhone and Blackberry users as well, which we have in stock. The new boxing is very nice and compact, haven't had a chance to listen to them yet, we just got them in the other day.

Here are the specs of the 200:

Speaker Type: Single, high performance, UE-Designed, dynamic speaker
Input Sensitivity: 104 dB SPL/mW. 1kHz
Impedance: 16 Ohms
Cable length: 46 inches
Input Connector: 1/8 Inch (3.5 mm) gold plated
Frequency Response: 20 Hz – 13,000 Hz
Noise Isolation: 16dB
and for the 200V: Microphone Sensitivity: -40dBV / Pa at 1kHz (omni-directional)

I will post my review when I have some time to spend with them, from what my understanding is they are an updated and improved version of the original with the additional of the 100 & 150.

The metro.fi 100: Good UE SQ plus a good price = perfect gym IEMs!

Assuming that they infact have the good UE SQ

UE are going to make a killing! Anyone who is after a sub-$50 IEM would naturally go for the UE brand IMO!

Will there be any heirs of the Triple.fi, or only low end IEMs?

well....

I'm very curious about these new 'phones form UE.

Michael, did I read that correctly? Do the new metro.fi 200's use Dynamic speakers in stead of Armatures?

I personally think that's a good thing. Low end armatures normally don't do that well.

So are the 100 and 150 also dynamic then?

That would make me curious, dynamic phones from UE. I'd love to try that!!!

new triple.fi? Triple dynamic drivers? Or better combo of Dynamic and Armature? (just dreaming here....)

The 150 also has a dynamic driver, the 100 does not say anything...but for right now I have not heard about anything else new from UE, I think the new metro.fi series is it for the time being.

sweet, dynamic drivers.
but again, it looks like a Metro. fi 2. same price too..
oh and, dynamic drivers require airing, don't they? so how come the housing is sealed(or it isn't?)
