Exclamation NEW DENON AH-D7000/HeadRoom at Denver Audio Fest!!

Hello Head-Fiers,

We mentioned this in our own HeadRoom sponsor forum earlier -- but just a quick post here in the main pages to announce HeadRoom has received our initial pair of DENON AH-D7000 headphones which we're now putting through the HR audio lab wringer. We'll hopefully have some D7000graphs/specs available in the next few weeks ...

DENON & HeadRoom are teaming up to officially roll-out the AH-D7000 in North America at the Rocky Mountain Audio Fest in Denver (weekend of Oct.10, 2008) in our HR 'Audiophile Desktop' showcase suite... Come on Down!

Cheers,
Jorge

Well, what i'll say for now is the D7000 reveal a heretofore unheard extension into the lowest bass octave (as the lab graphs will show ), in tandem with an uber-accurate low-end control & instrumental 'texture' we've not experienced before in most headphones... Intensely inviting, transparently silky mids/highs presentation too. Of course, i'm employing an HR Max Amp -- so i'm having an extremely difficult time taking them off me' head!

Cheers,
Jorge

Hi Jorge, can you get the graphic comparison fixed of Denon headphones (it get a JPGraph error (number of X and y points are not equal) when you try to compare the denons to others).
Thanks

I wonder if denon has been looking at headfi and the comments about the d2k and 5ks flabby bass and remedied the problems with some tweaks on the d7000

We've had a hard time resolving the various graphs/specs display issues but we're working on it, Wilashort, and we are aware of the problem... It has a lot to do with the current limitations of our website back-end and it's something that Tyll & our IT folks are attempting to correct asap...

Thanks for the patience!

Cheers,
Jorge

Maybe just a bit, Hew -- we're still awaiting our initial Headphone.com inventory stock of D7000s, which should be here by mid-to-late next week. (According to our Denon reps, we'll be the first "authorized" dealer in North America to offer them for sale! ) ...

Naturally, we'll have a firm price available by then!

Cheers,
Jorge

Congrats, Jorge! That's quite the coup for HeadRoom.

Now, let's see sensible pricing! Hint: Think volume; think selling to the masses...

Cheers,
