What's up with using single entry cabling? Everywhere on the forum, most people cite that as an inferior design as compared to dual entry types.
Looks sexy though....

akg uses those 2 straws at the top of the headband.. so theres no use for dual entry..

No, these headphone are revamp of pre-existing model. The K XX2HD models are the adaption of the already existing K XX0/1 to the home market. It seems that AKG is differentiating pro and home versions of the same headphone, similar to Beyerdynamic.

Yep. I wonder how much of a price difference there will be. I've been lookin at a set of K271's with velor pads. The wife is getting tired of the leakage from the 701's
