Sent my AT-CM7 for warranty about a month back, and I just received AT's email telling me that CM7 is on backorder.

Hmm...nobody here owned an AT clip-ons? was wondering if lacking bass is a common feature of clip-on headphone?

that doesn't look like an earbud.

I like my EW9... more than my CM7Ti I guess, but others have different opinions. I think the EW9 has pretty decent bass. I'll have to listen to those again since it's been a while.

Hey, we've had a few threads on this just recently - run a search for EW9 and a few should pop up at the top.

I actually somewhat regret selling mine - I thought they were the worst ever, but a few people have convinced me that maybe they're worth a second try. Personally, I did think they were pretty bad for my intended use - on the go, straight out of the iPod.

Anyway, mine have gone to a better home, and I'm not curious enough to buy a second pair.

Best,

-Jason

I've read they lack bass sometimes because they don't couple tightly enough to some people's ears. Someone suggested bending the clips to improve the bass. So, I suppose ymmv...

Thanks for the quick replied! Appreciate.
My one-month experienced with the CM7 told me that it's a rather bright, bass absent pair of earbuds.
I bet the EW9 sound characteristic is more of less the same with CM7, but with more decent bass, no? Personally i dont like weak bass...somebody please convince me that EW9 has tighther bass than CM7, so that i can make up my mind asap.

I'd get these for looks alone I'll be damned if that isn't the best looking clip-on I've ever seen.

As far as bass, I've heard both yes and no. I haven't actually heard the EW-9, but from reports it sounds to me like it benefits quite a bit from burn-in and bass fills out after some use.
