Default Looking to upgrade from MD33s (lots of links!)

Had my MD33s for a while and now they have gone missing.

So time to upgrade to a IEM or canalphone for $100 or less, with a slight possibility for a higher price if theres anything that seems perfect.

For the most part I liked the MD33s for being having a good amount of bass where I can hear different bass notes but not overpowering bass, great mids. Highs sometimes were a little harsh, but can be dealt with. Very Detailed for the money. However, the microphonics were awful. I would prefer the cord to be the same length for both ears, but its not mandatory.

As for the music I listen to, its very ranged. From hip hop and modern stuff like Justin Timberlake, to classic rock like Jimi Hendrix and The Beatles. Also I listen to alot of live music recordings. I guess the best show you what I listen to is link a bunch of stuff.

Prince - Live Medley

James Brown - Sex Machine

Heres one catch, I'm considering buying a electric guitar to learn how to play. I would try to start off with the basics, then blues, then funk, and then rock; using a stratocaster styled electric guitar, then eventfully buying a telecaster guitar. So I would like to get something to use while playing, but I haven't decided whether buy separate cans for the guitar or do a 2 in 1 thing.

Oh I don't plan on using an amp.
