Default KOSS UR40 modded

I got out my fairly new Koss UR40 that I bought a good while ago a few days ago. These mods have been covered before but I thought I would go over them again for any new members.

MODS= I took out the 3 screws in each ear cup and removed the thick foam from behind the drivers. Then I took 4 cotton balls 2 for each ear cup and flattened them out and put 2 of them behind each driver where the thick foam was.

When the thick foam is removed the UR40 sound has more air better sound stage and the cotton keeps the sound from any tinny sound.

Then I took one of the thick foam piece and cut it in half and then cut each piece in a 1/4 moon shape and placed each piece under and in back of each ear cup to raise the ear cup up a little for a better ear space and slight angle for better sound.
