(creator of phono cartridges, HP-1000 headphones, and currently a microphone in the stage of finalization........I came across this Poster regarding his N.Y. debut at Lincoln Center in 1981. Perhaps some of you did not realize he was a recognised Dramatic Tenor. Anyway.........enjoy.

Some people have commented that the great success his headphones have with rock is actually because he voiced them to play opera music well.

At 85 Joe's tenor voice is still as strong as ever. In fact, he may give a demonstration at the Southern/Charlotte CanFEST on 2/21/09 as he usually incorperates a little singing in his presentations. It is amazingly strong and beautiful. As I recall he was rated as one of the top 5 tenors in the world at one time.
