Default Jays q-jays v UE super.fi 5 pro v Denon AH-C700

hi all..........

looking for a new set of in ears....... as title, they are the 3 im looking at.....

Music i listen to is Trance, Electro, hard house, techno (dance music in general)

i like my bass, but not to the point where it overpowers every other sound or distorts!

I will be using it with my mobile phone, SE s500i, flashed to w580i, though im currently looking into getting a Sony nwz-a818.....

dont want something too large and heavy, and comfort levels are essential! I want the pair which have the best fit, i hear the q-jays are very comfy to wear!

all help as appreciated

SF5 Pros!

WE have very similar music tastes, I love the Trance/Techno/House

And the SF5s do not upset me.

Like Basshunter in my head!

Fit takes getting used to, but ZOMG!

is the bass overpowering on them though?
i know the EB version are too bassy on some ocassions, according to some reviews!
and as i do listen to trance frequently, bass is always present, so dont want it to overpower all other sounds

Nope, nicely balanced.

Take basshunter for example, the bass is thumping, but it doesnt drown out his vocals, nor the electro or trance portions of the song.

i love them, i am sad to be selling them in favour of the livewires i hav ordered

edit:

if u want, i am happy to organise a time for u to come try em. pm me

The Jays tend to lack in bass from what I have read. I do not think this would be befitting for the type of music you listen to.

The Super.fi 5 is always a good recommendation. You can still pick them up for $139.99 shipped:

UE Super.fi 5

If you think the over the ear wire and large size will be uncomfortable then try the Denon AH-C700. They are $141.99 shipped:

Denon AH-C700

If you want even smaller, then the Atrio M5 would be a choice, but the highs are not as bright for your type of music. Look for road-dog-on-line on eBay.

thanks for the replies guys!

I do currently own a set of jays d-jays, the bass output is ok, but i hear the q-jays punch out more bass?

Guess thats the UE out of the question, dont want the cord over the ear!

so, out of Denons or the Jays.....

EDIT: forgot to add, sound isolation/leakage is important for me! Dont like to hear too many outside noises (i know i wont get it ALL blocked out, but as much as possible, and i hear the UE arent too good at this? I catch the train every day to work, keep that in mind) and really dont like people hearing my music....
