isolation on ex81...?
how much isolation do the sony ex81 provide? are they adequate enough for a bus ride? for a plane ride? can u hear the phone ringing if you have them in? thanks.

Yeah, i agree. The md33's isolated better when i had them both.

as long as they allow for a comfortable bus ride, then i'm good. i don't want to completely silence out the outside world.

Like all the semi-canalphones, your isolation from the outside world will also depend heavily upon the type of music you listen to. Example: Trance/Techno or Rock/Pop would help drown things out extremely well.

I had the EX71's and they did a very good job of drowing out the sounds of the underground (tube, not the song)
They were good phones very comfortable as are the 81's which my mates has
