hahaha, yes, that is indeed the question. I think no one can answer it, there's probably a rule somewhere in the customsystem that they have to hold the package for at least 3 weeks before sending it to the owner--> so that they satisfy the owner more with the product (hopefully).
Or maybe they are deconstructing it, searching for microfilms. anyone else has an idea?
Sorry bit off topic.
Zanth, im not sure if someone pointed this out but your style of writing could be good for writing novels man! im only on the second page of what i printed out and its drawing me in. i havent even heard a grado phones before!

Long time no see guys!
This is my first post in a long while...
To some extent I agree that Grado should not just sit on its laurels... corporate competition in the modern world is brutal and if a company is standing still it will soon be left waaay behind...
Except that the headphone market moves more slowly than most markets we know. And Grado is not standing still--it is coming out with Grado Streetstyles woohoo! If these are cheap and have good sound and good looks... if they catch on... well, can you imagine those teenyboppers finally having their ears opened... can you imagine Grado Streetstyles competing with Sony Streetstyles in sales volume... can you imagine what that would do for Grado's bottom line?

BTW, if Grado enjoys building the headphones himself, delegating R&D and management would sooo not work--he'd be like a line assembler in his own company if he'd delegated that work

Must go to Best Buy
But... but... Mr. John Grado MUST talk to Circuit City and Best Buy this time! Can you imagine what a monumental flop it would be if a Sony Streetstyle-priced headphone were to sell only in audiophile shops and online orders? Perhaps that's why the SR40s failed too, they weren't marketed in the right place! (and yes you need marketing for such a mass market product)
