Which IEM's to buy? - Head-Fi: Covering Headphones, Earphones and Portable Audio

I recently received a $30 apple gift certificate and i am looking to upgrade my earbuds. Which earbuds would you guys recommend from this page for $30 off? I don't want to go crazy here so i am going to set a maximum of $200 but lower is always better. i will just be using my ipod as a source so keep in my im not working with high quality equipment.

To be honest I wouldn't buy from the Apple store because even with the 30 off you're still probably gonna get a bad deal. Take the SE310's for example, they'd still be 220 there when you could get them from Amazon for 207.

If you don't have a case I'd maybe pick that one up with that card but otherwise it's a waste to buy from the Apple store. Maybe try selling it on ebay?

JBL Reference 220! Free case that can fit the iPod Classic 160GB and a plane adapter and stuff and 4 set of different tips and 2 really useless plastic things.

cx 300....in ear design, + you can get a rebate by trading in your old earbuds...$15 off...now you have $45 to play with

i might pick up the cx300's because i can get them for $15 but i dont feel like that would be enough of an upgrade.

because apple doesnt have anything at a decent price what would you guys recommend for me for about $150 max? i listen mostly to rock, classic rock, alternative, and some hip hop.
