Used to use an Altoids tin when I had tri-flanges.. now I just stuff them in my pocket when I'm done. The Soft Flex sleeves get some dust on them but (yes, I know, gross) I use them anyway without much washing.

Default Am I doing something wrong?

I've used E2's for about two years now, and I've gone through 3 pairs in that time. Each pair has had the same problem, the wire in both left and right cables has cracked from the exactly same place, around 3 cm from the unit itself. This is also pretty much the part where the cable starts to bend when you put the cable around your ear. But with the first pair I realized that it's also the same place where the cable starts to bend when you wrap the cord around the case that comes with the earphones. So that was probably the reason for the first and second to crack. That or then my daily use is too heavy for shure
just saying that from my experiences the case included with the headphones can be more of a minus than a plus.
