Not necessarily. USPS tracking is not very accurate. It probably has been shipped.

x2
I was checking the tracking number every day and it said the same thing until this morning (July 3) that the item was processed at local facility. That meant I knew I will get it today.

F1 *sigh* whatever. Don't care. "I'm too old for this sh1t".
Which isn't to say I don't kind of wish it went all out on the obvious "headphones". How about a complementary "this fone goes over the left ear" and "this fone goes over the other ear". "Plug in the shiny thing and press play".

Mine it says it has been accepted. I wonder what # I get. And if I get a F1 HP or a FI version... Good thing to know is that as I am part of the first batch I am getting a 2 digit number
Will be happy if it is well built, and sounds as all HF-2 should.

On top of that, it probably means that I'll have to wait weeks more on top of what I already figured. I really hope that it doesn't take until September to get these things.

Grado is not exactly the fit & finish poster child.

While I have no doubt that the quality of the CanJam Special Edition Blur model will never be surpassed, I wouldn't mind having an F1 model as well, maybe in Ferrari Red.

I actually wouldn't mind getting it either, as long as I know the rest of the phone is perfect, I think it would be funny. That said, it is impossible to know whether the rest of the phone is perfect so you really have to judge by what you can see. I am afraid that the rest of the phone is anything but perfect if they can't manage to get the engraving right.
@the monkey-- I agree in general. I love my RS-1s and I love grado, but this just an absurd mistake to make. What this means is that no one was even looking at them as they went out the door. I am cutting Grado a lot of slack. I am not canceling my order, and I won't as long as people keep saying that they sound great, because that is what I am actually worried about.

While the mistake would not actually bother me, an easy fix would be for the engraver to supply a credit to Grado and Grado could offer the option of a credit or an exchange to the customer. IMHO imperfections like this are sadly equated to American made products and I just don't get it. "I" or "1", kind of a big difference there, you know. I guess if there were no HF-1, it wouldn't be such a big thing. It's a bit goofy seeing "Head-F1 HF2".

Unfortunately it probably won't. Like the others have said, the system USPS uses is nothing at all like the one UPS or FedEx uses. You may be provided with one update showing that it has processed through customs in Miami or NYC, but you may or may not be provided with an acceptance notice or periodic updates showing each stop along the way. Rest assured though it will arrive.
With that said, mine is scheduled to be here on Wednesday. I hope it is an F1 edition!!

TM,
As usual, you master the understatement!
Reminds me of this:

Where are they NOW?
Otter: In Charge of R&D and Quality Control - Grado Laboratories
Grados usually only have two issues of concern:
1) The things they screw up by accident
2) The things they do on Purpose
other than that, they're great

The Silver lining in this Perfect Storm Cloud is that in 30 days if you don't like this pinnacle of Quality, you can send it back for a refund.

Even by Grado/Alessandro standards (and I own and have owned several) the finish on them is atrocious.
Let's examine this phenomena - here's a shot of my #63 HEAD-F1s ( HEAD-HELP lol), which have been on my head for about 45 minutes whilst sitting at my desk in my office ie zero wear and tear:
Yes, that is wood glue overspill, and the mashed-up c-clamp dowel peg is standard fitment.
They are really comfortable and are the best sounding Grados I have heard but still am I right to feel a touch ?

If you have seen any woody grados, the glue overspill isn't strange. I guess that it is difficult or impossible to clean the wood in that area without damaging anything. The dowel does look like a dog chewed on it, though.
