Genuine Shure E2c? Please Verify ASAP
Hey guys could you please verify if these are genuine Shure E2c's? Does the colour scheme look a bit dodgy? What about the tips, case etc. Please check out the link and post your opinion. Much appreciated http://www.trademe.co.nz/Browse/List...x?id=102053256

I'm almost certain it's fake..
The real one's either all black or have one driver clear and the other half transparent black
Those tips aren't original and never seen that pouch before..

I've been looking at some other pictures of the E2 models and the colour scheme on these is definitely weird. They're neither the same as standard E2c nor the E2g. Is there any other E2 models that Shure has released before?? And what about all the extra tips and packaging that should come with it?? The price also seems too good to be true. Also, it appears from other pictures that the shape of the E2g is slightly different to that of the E2c. Is this true?

Fake Fake Fake.......I'm sitting here with my E2g's in my hand. The carrying pouch in all wrong and look at the crooked stiching, way short of Shure quality. The clear plastic ends on the phone body, I've never seen that on a Shure, and all shures are marked "left" and "right" directly above the Shure logo, It's missing on these puppies. All this and they're way to cheap.

Just by the way: fatcat28037 and other owners of the Shure E2c/g, how do you like these IEM's? Are they a good buy? Are they comfortable? Do they sound good?

Bigburger:
They sound decent for their price range. My only complaint was comfort because I have small ear canals, and the e2c has larger nozzles than the other shure's I own.
Original poster: It seems everyone agrees those are fake, steer well clear.

The pictures of an authentic one should look like this (ignore the triple flanges) :
As for the sound, when I had it, although it sounds good, it has some pretty serious treble rollof meaning that the sound just won't sparkle. Comfortability is just fair, as the noozles is a bit to big for my small ear canals.
For similar amount of money, Mylarone X3s sound better to me. You should also check out the Ety ER6is. For non-isolating earbuds: Yuin PK2s, closed headphones: K81DJ.

General consensus is correct: Those are indeed FAKE.
Thanks for your diligence, oh great Head-Fi community!
