FAKE OR NOT FAKE? plz hurry
Last night i purchased a pair of ATH-es7 off ebay and didn't realize the possibility of them being fake. I should have posted in a related thread, but I really have no time to call off the deal. I'd really love the headphones, but i'm a young teenager on a strict budget (less than 80 dollars). i'd rather buy akg 81 djs than a fake pair of es7s.
can anyone tell me if these look real or not?
Audio-Technica ATH-ES7 Headphones Mp3 Audio Cd Player - eBay (item 320233462302 end time Mar-29-08 01:04:44 PDT)
I'd really appreciate it. thank you.

I would say fake - if price is too good to be true, it probably isn't
They normally go for 100$+

HI, not fake, but not made in Japan, is manufactured in other countries, is a brand-new boxed, quality assurance, please rest assured that items with the picture is the same. If you are worried about, and will take care of the refund request, is not a full refund because PAYPAL charge fees, Thank you for your questions

I woudn't bother. Seller has very low feedback, and pictures are not very detailed, and they could be taken in retail stores. Save your $$ and get a legit pair at 100$.

The only thing you can do is order them, personally I wouldn't It's from China, so you'd get it and you'd have to inspect them. If they're fakes, you can file a paypal claim get your money back. but its cost you 70$ anyways for shipping.

Just so you know...when there is a full refund to the buyer, that includes the fees imparted to seller. Basically you gave him free money.
He just gets charged for listing the item on ebay, but really you have the upper hand since he is selling something that is not genuine. That goes against ebay policy if he falsely advertised. There is also a way for him to get a relisting credit. Sounds like he just didn't care and wanted some money any way he could. Sorry buddy.

Umm... the picture of those is not the fakes - but you will be getting fakes.
The box on fakes has a very corrugated look - like a cardboard box whereas the authentic ones have a very clean look.
The edges will be rounded instead of a two-angled edge. The pads will have a rouched appearance instead of leather-like. The headband rubber piece will be flimsy as well as the steel wire pieces.
Please do see the thread!

For that price you most certainly get a fake pair, if any.
I would stay clear!
