Etymotic ER-6i w/ mic & switch for iPhone on the way?
I was listening to the latest episode of the Apple Phone Show podcast which promised a review of new headphones w/ mic & switch. I expected a review of the new UE-4vi's (which I picked up at the Apple store and am not entirely thrilled with) but was surprised and delighted to hear a review of the Etymotic ER-6i w/ mic & switch for iPhone.
There's been no hint here or on the Ety page of such a beast on the way. It occured to me that they might have been sent a pair of the modded ER-6i w/ switch that's been available for some months. I've sent the show an email to let me know whether what they received was from Etymotic. Waiting to hear back.
Anyone else listen to that show/review or have any new info from Etymotic? If these headphones are on the way I still have time to send the UE's back to the Apple Store.
I just hope the (possible) Ety's come in black.
