Does any other headphone come close to presenting vocals like Grados ?
That one thing stands out most to me about them.

Audio Technica, maybe AKG 501.

In my experience, the Senn HD600, PX100, and AKG K501 all do an excellent job with vocals.

If you're asking what other phones have a similar signature to the Grados, I think they're kinda by themselves.
If you're asking whether any other phones present vocals better, it's of course subjective, and to my ears the Senn 600s and A900s both do. I prefer a more relaxed presentation of the sound, and the Grado signature (forward, bright) had me wincing way too often with the volume up.

Suffice to say that in my completely personal, possibly flawed opinion, the low end Koss headphones everyone recommends (55's and 75's) and a number of the AKG's (240s and k181dj with eq on "acoustic" (likewise, probably the k81dj)) did a noticably better job with vocals than the Grados I tried.
Again, this is completely my own, biased opinion.

Since I've not heard anything better than my MS-1s, I can't really comment either. But they sound much like my home speaker system which has surprized me by sounding like a "real person" was in the room during movies. And THAT, can be startling!!
