Sticky!
I, as a newbie, find this very helpful. I've been trying to figure out what the hell 'bright' and 'dark' meant for quite some time.

a must see for beginners joining Head-Fi
I thought when first joining it was very hard to understand people because they used words like this that a beginner would not know.
I am starting to get the "lingo" down

Real great reference, for both old and new people, but especially the latter. I keep saving it for my reference, but would be great if this could be stickied; most invaluable.

Another "edit it and sticky it"!
My complaint: I got no help understanding my favorite terms of audiophilic mythology: For chrissakes, what's liquidity (as in liquid midrange)? And how can bass be slow (as in a slow subwoofer)?
