Denon D7000 in stock @ J&R
So if you're looking for it, here it is:
Denon AHD-7000 Ultra Reference Over-Ear Headphones in Corded Headphones at JR.com
EDIT: also there is a 7% live.com cashback for J&R
EDIT 2: I guess head-fi wiped the stock out... within 2 hr after this thread was posted
EDIT 3: well, they're back in stock again, but at a much higher price...

Ummm...WOW. That price absolutely obliterates Headroom's current asking price, and it doesn't even include the 7% cashback.

dammit now i keep lookin at that page thinkin, "hmm well if i sell a few things...."
cause i think im in the market for the d2000, but the d7000...oh man.
Would these be good as an all around can? i listen to mainly electronic stuff, but like the occasional jazz and classical record.
Looks like the frequency graph i see on headroom suggests adequate bass capability's...

nice. i pre-ordered these yesterday not thinking i'd get them until at least 2 weeks. it's been a day and they're back in stock been wanting to compare these to my D2000's and see exactly how much better these "bigger drivers/stronger magnets" would be.

at this price, anyone considering the d5000 or even d2000 should seriously consider streeetching your budget and taking the plunge. sell some stuff or go on a strict diet if you have to. and no more wondering what it sounds like (vs your d2000/d5000). really good deal.

Dagnabit!
The link says that they already out of stock again. I got the 5000's because no-one in that price range can get and keep them in stock.
