Default ClieOS' SA6 Bass≥ and Bass≤ ports mod

For those few of us who love our Sleek-Audio SA6's customizable sound (and have a spare pair of Bass= ports to play with ), I present to you my Bass≥ port mod.

1) Take one Bass= ports.

2) Pierce the middle of the rounded area with a small needle.

3) Replace the needle with a paper clip, hold the L side firm with a pair of tweezer and heat up ONLY the tip of the straight side (red circuit) with lighter till you can detect the plastic in contact with the paper clip melt a little. Be careful not to over heat.

4) Remove the paper clip and make sure you can see through the hole. DONE.

By opening a small hole on the back of the Bass= port, you now have a Bass≥ port. As the name suggested, the overall Bass≥ port's signature will still resemble that of Bass=, but with slightly stronger bass impact. Best for those who want Bass= with a bit more kick, but not to the point of Bass+ port.

Default The Bass≤ Mod

Using the Bass= and a bit of Blu Tuck, I create the Bass≤ for my SA6. The mod is simple, just roll a bit of Blu Tuck into a small ball that can fill in half of the Bass= port, and stuff it in lightly.

The Bass≤ port isn't too much of a step down in bass from Bass= port, but it does take away some airiness and swift a bit of deep bass power into the lower mid region. Basically a more in-your-face mid than what the Bass= will give.
