the er4p and s are excellent phones - some consider them to be THE best. their price is still expensive outside of the united states. they can certainly be included here i the op would do the favour.

it is a shame to rate iems especially within a price bracket as some of the higher end phones i find to be nowhere near as please.

Love my Denons. I don't find the bass to be all that boomy, unless you're listening to something expressly designed for bass. A simple EQ adjustment fixes that problem. The mids are fantastic, especially when amped, and the highs are pretty solid after amping as well.

Guess what guys:

The Denon AH-C 751 is out now.

A few days back I was in a electronic store and I saw the JBL Reference 220 for 80 euro's. So I just went and bought them, keeping in mind that I could return them if i wasn't happy with them. I currently have to Creative P630. After a day listening and pink noise for about 12 hours, they are a bit better now, and much better then the Creative, but I'm still not pleased. So I will be returning them. + the Isolation of the JBL was pretty poor. I NEED GOOD ISOLATION! But overall the JBL was pretty decent tho. Just not my taste. Bass was good, but I was missing the mids etc.

As I stated the Denon AH-C 700 version, the Denon AH-C 751 is released and available in stores now for 150 euro's. I'm still leaning to the Denons. I do have to change the list to the following I'm considering:

Denon AH-C 751 (NEW) 180 EURO
Sennheiser CX95 (NEW) 80 EURO
Atrio M5 150 DOLLAR?

I'm guessing no one has tried the new Denon 751 eh?
