So upgratitis strikes again. None too soon after my last buy (RP-21s), too. There's no stopping it, but I can do my best (and you all can help) to make a buy I won't regret later.
My budget is 150~200 and I'm buying on the buy/sale threads, so their retail equivalents would be something like 300 and down. I listen to bass-heavy music with female vocalists, so I need something adequate for both. It'll also have to be a noticeable improvement over the RP-21s. No amp now but I'll get one within a few months or so.
What I'm looking at:
-Denon AH-D2000 (Probably out of my price range as they go second hand for like 250)
-AKG K340 (Bass Heavy Version)
-Ultrasone HFI-2200 ULE (Like the fact it's open)
-Ultrasone HFI-700 DVD (Affordable, but is it a marked improvement over the RP-21s?)
