It depends on your amp.I'm not familar with your Sugden.
Driven by a solid state amp with very low output impedance (Lehmann BCL) they did sound very similar.The 600 ohm version seemed to be a little "faster" (better transient response), but I didn't perform a DBT and my mind might have played tricks with me.However, the 600 ohm version wasn't in another league performancewise.
I guess most relatively powerful dedicated SS headphoneamps would drive the 600 Ohm version without problems.
The main advantages of the 600 Ohm version are IMO:
1) Better performance when driven by the headphone out of a speaker amp connected to the power amp section via a simple resistor network
2) Some tube amps do require high impedance headphones, 400 Ohm and up
