Beyerdynamic DT 770 Pro has A LOT more bass than DT 770?
So, do you think that Beyerdynamic DT 770 Pro has A LOT more bass than DT 770?

I believe the only difference is the coiled vs straight cable.

“The Beyerdynamic DT 770 is a set of circumaural, closed, stereo headphones in the audiophile class, featuring a remarkably extended frequency reproduction, a high degree of ambient sound attenuation(18 dB), and comfortable, replaceable padding for the earcups and headband.”
http://www.bhphotovideo.com/bnh/cont...goryNavigation
“The DT 770 Pro is a comfortable closed-back headphone for professionals who require a full bass sound as well as clinically accurate high and mid-range reproduction, and is an indispensable tool for audio and video professionals.”
http://www.bhphotovideo.com/bnh/cont...ughType=search
FULL BASS!...
According to specifications, both headphones have Frequency Range: 5 Hz - 35 kHz

No, the two versions of the DT770 should have the same excellent bass.
The only difference used to be less pressure against the head with the non-pro version, but now the new DT770 is redesigned and sound even better. :-)
I wrote down a few words on this a couple of days ago.

Yep, nice review:
Tested: the new-design DT770 "hifi", and compared to older Beyers and W1000

Can anybody recomend me 1-2 songs I can buy from iTunes, where I can see 770's ability to handle low frequencies?

DT770 Pro has more clamping force than DT770.
This results in slightly increased bass in theory. Whether that applies in reality, depends on whether they tweaked the drivers between the two versions and if the clamping force on DT770 is still sufficient to ensure proper seal.
Bass will further be increased, if you swap your velour pads to fake leather pads (less porous material).
