Default Beyer DT660 - 2007 vs. earlier version

I tried out an older version of DT660 (2005?) and was surprised to find that it didn't have the amazing isolation that I saw somebody here boast about. There was definitely a lot more sound leakage (out, at least... don't remember how it was the other way, but I think that the 770's were also better) than on DT770.

I'm thinking that this could have changed with the 2007 version of the headphones. Can anyone confirm or deny this? And in general, what are the difference between the two versions?

I'll try one more bump and then abandon the thread if there are no replies...
